List of items and substances prohibited from being brought into secured facilities and into the area where security measures are conducted.

1. The following items and substances are prohibited from being brought into secured facilities and into areas where security measures are conducted:

1. All types of weapons or other objects:
   • the damaging effect of which is based on the use of radioactive radiation or biological action, or the use of electromagnetic, light, thermal, infrasound, or ultrasound radiation; imitating any type of weapon;
   • which are used as weapons, including striking, crushing, throwing, piercing, cutting, explosive devices, as well as means of their delivery;
   • ammunition for weapons and their component parts;
2. Mechanical and aerosol sprays and other devices equipped with tear gas, irritants, or other substances causing harmful effects on the human body;
3. Substances:
   • explosive, narcotic, psychotropic,
   • poisonous, toxic,
   • radioactive,
   • corrosive, pyrotechnic,
   • flammable;
4. Faulty photo, video, and audio recording equipment.

2. On facilities protected by the State Security Service of the Republic of Kazakhstan, additional restrictions are imposed on the bringing in of items and substances in accordance with access control and internal facility regimes.

2. At facilities protected by the SGO RK, additional restrictions are imposed on the bringing in of items and substances in accordance with access control and internal facility regimes.

Employees of the facilities and visitors are prohibited from bringing in audio, photo, video equipment and other electronic and technical devices (laptops, radios, data transmission devices, magnetic and electronic data storage media, electronic notebooks, etc.) without approval from the SGO RK (with the exception of CD and DVD discs, audio and video cassettes).
